First Lady Sherry, a native of Detroit, Michigan, serves in ministry with her husband and founder, Pastor Richard Woodson. She is the gentle calm behind the storm, who teaches and preaches to expect God’s best in every situation. God has empowered her to lead one of the progressive women’s ministries in the city, “R.E.O.C. Women of Virtue”. Exposing the trappings of the past, she is teaching women how to defeat the enemy in the battle field of their minds. Truly she is an inspiration to the body of Christ.
- First Lady Sherry retired from the United States Army in 1998 after 20 years in the medical field where she served as an operating room technician.
- She returned to college, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Social Work, from Austin Peay State University in 2004.
- First Lady has worked with the Tennessee Department of Children Services for over 6 years; where she served as a Case Worker and as the Court Liaison for DCS in Cheatham County. God has strategically placed her in a capacity to minister to broken families within the court systems as well as throughout the community.
- She is the mother of 5 children, ranging from 17 to 32.
1st Lady Sherry’s passion for God has truly blossomed to a greater dimension, she has experienced firsthand the restoration power of God in her own life. Now she flows in the ministry of reconciliation, restoring family relationships and empowering lives to step out and apply the Word of God.
